Recently at Havencare we have launched our “Big Aims”, focusing us on the things that are making a difference.
To keep us on track, we have some objectives that we are focusing on this year to work towards those Big Aims. Sometimes our work can be reacting to day-to-day challenges and it is difficult to see the future, but our Big Aims remind us of the incredible journey we are on.
In Havencare, we believe that if our staff feel they are making a difference, feel valued, feel supported, and feel connected with our values, then our tenants and people we support will have the most outstanding service.
So, to sit alongside our ‘Big Aims’ we have published our “People Strategy” which lists 12 pledges to commit us to how we act to attract, engage, train, and retain our invaluable colleagues.
Each month on our social channels you will see us release our “pledge for the month” that we will be focusing on and sharing with our community.

Throughout the month of May we will be talking about Fibromyalgia, highlighting Mental Health Awareness, celebrating Water Saving Week, and we look forward to cheering on ex-employee and friend of Havencare, Ricky Callow (RC Coaching), as he embarks on an Ultramarathon raising money for our work.
